Part 1 · Week 1: Created with Purpose (Identity in Christ)

Day 5 of 365

The Connected Leader

Scripture

1 Corinthians 12:27 (NIV) - "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

Reflection

Your top strength is 'Connectedness'—you intuitively see the interconnectedness of all things. This verse takes that strength and gives it an eternal dimension. Your identity is not just that of a standalone leader, husband, or father. You are an integral, indispensable part of a living, breathing organism: the body of Christ. Your successes are not just your own, and your struggles are not yours to bear alone.

This truth combats the intense isolation that often comes with leadership. You are connected to a global, historical, and eternal family. The real estate deal you close can help fund a ministry. The integrity you show in a business meeting can inspire a young employee. The grace you give your kids becomes part of their spiritual foundation. Your strategic mind is a gift to the Body. Your activator energy can mobilize others for good. Seeing your life through this lens transforms your network into a ministry and your influence into a stewardship.

Prayer

Father, thank you for grafting me into the body of Christ. Help me to see my roles and relationships as part of a larger, divine tapestry. Show me how to use my gifts to build up and support the other parts of the body this week. Amen.

Action Step

Identify one person in your network (an employee, a client, a family member) who you can intentionally encourage or support today. Send them a text, make a call, or offer a word of affirmation, recognizing your connection in the body of Christ.
